chrissept21 February 9, 2010 at 9:29 pm

i have a question i have to side a house this week end and we’ve never done it before

do i start from the top or bottom or top
and how do i cut the stuff

saw or knife?

m4sabonim February 9, 2010 at 9:40 pm

hey man awsome video but you forgot to mention that when you nail the siding on you sould hit the studs with the nails and maybe use a level so the siding is level and so when you get to the top piece it goes into the lock eaisly without streching it

DominickDiy February 9, 2010 at 10:06 pm

Thank you very much..

You mite spend more time finding the siding tool then anything. The is nice but it’s really made for installing the siding rather then removing it.

Yes Aluminum is the same for the most part. But be very careful, it doesn’t like to bend. Once bent, give it a new home, the garbage pail.

tallandslimharleyrid February 9, 2010 at 11:20 pm

DDYI- good vid. So would I be wasting time buying the siding tool? Also- does aluminum siding have the same locking mechanism as vinyl? Again- good vid- was facing a problem with mine and this helped- thanks- TAS

Enigma758 February 9, 2010 at 11:49 pm

4:03 LOL
Nice vid!

breezebro February 10, 2010 at 12:24 am

How did you get new siding to match your old siding? Mine’s 10 years old, and I don’t know who installed it.

DominickDiy February 10, 2010 at 1:15 am

I get lots of compliments everyday.. But none like yours. Thank you very very much. And yes I would love to have my own show. One day maybe… I hope, lol… Thanks again..

Regards… Dominick
